Land and Sea
Day 1
Arrive in Tofino and spend the evening exploring the town, browsing in shops and local galleries.
Day 2
Spend the morning kayaking off Tofino and enjoy an up close and personal encounter with a harbour seal. Enjoy the sound of the sea birds and the gentle motion of the ocean.
After a quick bite to eat, head off to the Canadian Princess Resort in Ucluelet and enjoy an afternoon of halibut fishing. Fishing rods, reels and tackle is provided, all you have to do is enjoy the experience. The resort’s crew will clean your catch and have it ready for your trip home.
In the evening, drive to Chesterman Beach and enjoy the sunset.
Day 3
Enjoy a lazy morning in and around town and then have lunch at the Wickaninnish Restaurant overlooking world-famous Long Beach. After lunch, explore the tidal pools along the rocks or stroll along the beach following the shore birds and crabs that scoot along the sand.
Hike one of the many trails through Pacific Rim National Park enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of these ancient forests.
Travel home back through Port Alberni and stop at Coombs Country Candy for some sweet treats.
